In obtaining pretty cool photos like the one below taken at Bixby Bridge in Big Sur, you have to crawl over some rough and overgrown terrain. When you get to your vantage point you have to get down on the level of your subject. That means putting your hands and face in the foliage.
Well … I now look like I have leprosy and my skin is on fire. I have poison oak on and in various parts of my body, some of which are not fit to be discussed in family oriented blog.
So, I hope you like the picture!
John
PS – Important safety tip: Do NOT go to the bathroom until after you have had a thorough shower if you have been to Big Sur. Use of toilet paper prior to said shower my have unintended and serious consequences.

Oh my, at least you got a fab image! But at what a price! I can’t help it, I’m laughing at your description of your trials and the resulting pain. Thanks for warning and lesson for all the rest of us.
